Laura and Jamie – July 2019

A day full of love, magical moments and trailblazing tartan at Hales Hall & The Great Barn.
“We wanted to be surrounded by all our friends and family and celebrate with plenty of good food, wine and music”

Theme – Family country wedding with everyone staying at Hales Hall medieval estate. Vintage inspired stylish empire lines with an elegant bridal cape and soft pastel shades of buttermilk, ivory and pink with blue thistles and the groom sporting a Black Watch tartan suit. Elegant trees twinkling with fairy lights filled the barn with an abundance of natural trailing greenery, hessian details and vintage bottles filled with stems.

The Ceremony – The Great Barn’s romantic loophole candlelit windows set the scene with twinkling fairy lights and swathes of greenery decorating the aisle, haleshall.com

Flowers –  Laura’s bouquet was a pretty mix of blue thistles with old English roses, in delicate tones of ivory, rose pink and peachy hues. Bridesmaids wore boho country floral crowns and carried simple stems. Garlands of greenery framed the aisle and the window boxes were filled with trailing evergreens. The rustic country theme included swathes of foliage on the tables and vintage glass bottles filled with white blooms.

Dress – Laura wore a stunning dress from Rock the Frock Bridal. Laura’s vintage inspired ivory and lace dress had beading details with a unique voile cape as an alternative to the traditional veil.
