Meera & Ben – July 2016

A mixture of Hindu and Christian wedding traditions, merging in one big celebration, of colour, food and cultures. Meera & Ben’s wedding had heaps of family contributions, including building the bespoke wedding mundap.

Theme – White flowers with beautiful green foliage, contrasting with the vibrant, bright colours of the Indian Sarees.

Food – Venue 5, a specialised Indian caterer who the family have used for years for celebrations came to Hales Hall and treated the guests to traditional Indian sweet snacks after the ceremony, tasty canapés and a feast of authentic curries throughout the day.

Drinks – Champagne reception on the beautifully manicured gardens.

Cake – Delightful Catering’ baked a gorgeous naked wedding cake, filled with fresh cream and covered in fresh summer berries including blueberries, strawberries and raspberries

Flowers – Bramble and Berry created beautiful white floral bouquets for Meera and her bridesmaids and the tables were decorated with log slices, jam jars and foliage

Styling – Meera & Ben decorated the dresser with their table plan and family photos. The mundap was the main feature, drapped in white silk on the stage and housed their Hindu ceremony.
